Presenters and participants will shoulder the cost of the following:
• Accommodation;
• Breakfast;
• Some lunches;
• Most dinners;
• Airfare to the venue; and
• Local transportation within the city.
Aside from the registration fees, additional fees will be collected for the following:
• Closing dinner (Php800/pax); and
• Excursion or Tour (May include packages to tour heritage mansions, heritage and baroque churches, and beaches. Details to be provided in April 2024.)

Transportation
DIRECT FLIGHTS
As of writing, direct international flights to Iloilo City are unavailable since the pandemic.
CONNECTING FLIGHTS TO ILOILO CITY
Iloilo City is readily accessible via plane from the international airports of Manila, Cebu, and Davao. Flight times range from 1 hour and 10 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes. More than 100 flights fly to Iloilo thru the local airlines of Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific Air, and Air Asia.
When flying to Iloilo thru Manila, please account for the travel time for the possible changing of terminals.
ROAD TRAVEL & SHIP FROM MANILA
Two other more scenic options are to take an overnight ship from Manila to the Iloilo City port thru the shipping line of 2Go Travel (27 hours), and a road trip also from Manila (17 hours) or Cebu (10 hours).
IN-CITY TRAVEL OPTIONS
For convenience, the Grab app may be downloaded and used to book transportation for travel to any part of Iloilo City. Using the app will inform passengers of the cost before the booking is finalized. Payment can be made in cash or credit thru the app.
There are also taxis, jeepneys, and tricycles that may be used to get around. The cost per ride highly depends on your route and destination. Jeepneys have a minimum fare of Php13, tricycles are at Php15 at least, and taxis have a meter.
TRAVEL COSTS
Each participant is responsible for their own airfare, airport transfers, and local transportation around the city.

The currency in the Philippines is the Philippine peso with an average exchange rate of Php55:USD1 as of January 2024.
We recommend going to SM Iloilo City for your money exchanging needs. Major credit cards are accepted.

Electricity operates on a supply voltage of 220V and 60Hz with a Type A plug with 2 flat parallel pins as the most common type.
